Happy July, America’s birthday, and second high holy day on the cannabis calendar: 710, the concentrate holiday. And we are celebrating with an oil sale in Missouri and Illinois.

Now through July 12th, all concentrates are 20% off (including live rosin and live resin carts and disposable vapes). Buy two, get 25%, and buy three or more and get 30% off. Pluuuus bundle deals on distillate carts, disposable vapes, and Baller Buckets.

Check out all the details below!

If you’re just hearing about 710 for the first time, welcome! It’s a great time to get a little curious (possibly do-a-dab curious) and try something new. If that’s you, skip to the bottom for a little more on what the holiday is and how to celebrate.

What’s worth grabbing

Not sure where to start? Here’s a quick breakdown of what we’re moving most at Key, and who each one is for.

Live Rosin

The star of the concentrate world. Solventless, full-spectrum, and made from fresh-frozen plant material, which means you’re getting as close to the living plant as a concentrate gets. If flavor and potency are your priorities, this one is for you. Look for Head Change and Vibe.

Live Sugar / Sugar Wax

Crystalline texture, strong flavor, and beginner-friendly! It’s easy to handle. Elevate, Aeriz, and Head Change all have strong entries here.

Badder / Live Budder

Smooth, whipped, easy to scoop. Badder/Budder is also pretty beginner-friendly and easy to work with. While typically dabbed, badder and budder can be vaporized in pens, melted into pre-rolls or bowls. Head Change, Infinity, and Proper Cannabis all carry solid badder options.

Shatter / Wax

These are less complex than live options, but still effective and, importantly, have a good accessible price point. Good entry point if you’re just getting into concentrates and want a quality option without breaking the bank. Infinity, CannaMO and Elevate are popular at Key.

New to dabbing? Start here.

Concentrates have a reputation for being intense, and they can be — what with the rigs, and extra tools and intense high – but it’s easy enough to get into with some practice, we promise.

To ingest your highly concentrated form of cannabis, you dab – i.e. vaporize the concentrate using a specialized water pipe also known as a rig. Instead of lighting dry weed, you heat a quartz attachment (a banger) to around 450–500°F, apply a small scoop of extract with a metal tool, and inhale the vapor.

A few things that help:

  • As always – start with a smaller dab than you think you need. You can always do another!
  • Ask your budtender which category is the most beginner-friendly; it could change based on what’s in stock.
  • If you don’t have a rig, ask about nectar collectors (also known as terp or dab pens). Lower commitment, similar experience, way less gear.
