But since the high holy day is occurring in just a few short weeks, we’re throwing a bigger-than-ever-in-our-three-years-legal-market party, right here in KC! Because we’re grown, law-abiding stoners and we deserve good, grown fun, like listening to live music, enjoying food, drinks and browsing local artists’ work on a beautiful hillside, surrounded by friends and free weed. 

That’s right, my friends, SESH FEST KC 2026 is a consumption-friendly event, and your ticket gets you access to complimentary cannabis. We’ll get to that in a sec. First: what is this thing?

 

What is SeshFest KC? (The Best 420 Event in Kansas City)

Sesh Fest KC is Kansas City’s 420-friendly mini music festival (occurring on, you guessed it, April 20), presented by Key Cannabis Dispensaries. It’s built around live music, cannabis, food, local creatives, more weed, and a lot of people all in the same good mood.

We would now like to take a moment to acknowledge how far we’ve come: once, we bought a baggie from a guy in a parking lot and hoped for the best. Now, we stock up early, buy tickets to events with pleasant scenery and a full music lineup. We pay legal tender to choose from a variety of clean, strong, regulated goods (here, while you’re here)!

We are PSYCHED about our lineup and our mainstage: Krizz Kaliko is headlining.

If you’re a KC native, you don’t need us to explain why this is a big deal. If you’re new to the city, welcome! And you’re about to understand something important about us – we love our hometown heroes, and Krizz is one of Kansas City’s own, a rapper, singer, and songwriter, and longtime collaborator with fellow KC native, Tech N9ne.

  • 77 Jefferson — Groovy rock, R&B, and reggae 
  • Jamogi and the Jammers — Funk! 
  • DJ Diamond Diva — Emcee and DJ keeping the vibe locked in
  • Maxwell’s Cousin — Our resident Canna Village DJ for the evening

Beyond the music, here’s what the night looks like:

  • Live music from doors to close: six acts, staggered through the evening
  • Cannabis brands and experiences: we’ll have a canna village where you can visit your favorite brands, including Elevate, Jeeter, Robust, Amaze, Sinse, and more. 
  • Food and local vendors including Wasteland Society, Myrth Creative Co., Gold Gods, Dom’s Tees and more! 
  • Consumption-friendly space, where you can grab gifted cannabis  

 

Tickets: How to Show Up to the Best 420 Event in Kansas City

Two ways to do this:

General Admission: $40

Full access to the festival: all the music, all the vendors, all the food trucks, all the vibes. This is the move if you want the full experience without any fuss. 

VIP: $95

…buuut sometimes the upgrade is worth it! VIP gets you:

  • All-you-can-eat food and drinks
  • Artist meet-and-greet 
  • VIP lounge access + exclusive perks (temp. controlled space for lounging and consumption, a special Jeeter experience, swag bags, and more)

IMPORTANT note about parking—it’s limited. If you plan to park onsite, purchase parking with your ticket; otherwise, we encourage ride sharing so you can enjoy your evening responsibly and get home safely!

Get your ticket. Stop by Key before the 20th to stock up—we’ll be running daily deals on just about everything the week before and day of 420, at all our locations across Missouri, Illinois and Arizona. You can stop by our KC North location, just down the road from the fest, to stock up!.
