Blunts are similar to joints but rolled large to accommodate more marijuana. This can deliver a more potent smoking experience, with stronger effects. The larger size also makes them ideal for sharing.

You have options when it comes to the wrap you select—and not all blunts are created equally. We encourage you to skip tobacco products that can potentially harm your health, and choose wraps made from hemp and herbal alternatives instead.

Blunts are known for their slow and even burn. They tend to burn slower than traditional rolling papers, providing a longer-lasting smoking session.

STEP 1

Gather your materials

  • Wrap
  • Ground cannabis
  • Grinder (optional)
  • Small knife or scissors

STEP 2

Grind and fill the blunt

Use a grinder (or your fingers) to break down your buds into smaller, even pieces. Sprinkle the ground cannabis evenly along the length of the blunt wrap, leaving some space at both ends for sealing.

STEP 3

Shape and pack

Using your fingers, gently shape and pack the cannabis inside the blunt wrap, ensuring an even distribution. Avoid overpacking to prevent the blunt from becoming too tight, which could impede airflow.

STEP 4

Seal and roll

Starting at one end, tuck the edge of the wrap around the cannabis and begin rolling it upward, using your fingertips to compress the cannabis inside. Lick the edge of the wrap and seal it by pressing it against the outer wrap.

STEP 5

Finish and light

Use your fingers to gently shape the blunt into an even cylinder. Once you’re satisfied with the shape, you can carefully light the end of the blunt and enjoy your smoke.
